The networking stack is one of the most important things our hardware manager does. It is important that it can saturate any NIC, be compliant with various protocols, but there is also a unique opportunity to think what is the best API to make performance easy (this is not yet another Berkeley socket implementation).

What you will do:

Work on networking stack internals
Research and implement various optimizations
Work on improving existing and adding new drivers

What we are looking for:

Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, DHCP, etc.)
Strong low-level systems knowledge
C and Rust
1-5 years of professional experience

Nice to have:

Experience working with DPDK and io_uring
Experience working on Networking Stack
Experience writing drivers (NIC preferred)
